Bayard Conservation Area Field Trip
Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at 8:00AM-11:00AM
Bayard’s mixed habitat and proximity to the St. Johns River will allow us to observe and record a great variety of bird species including migrant songbirds, waders, raptors, woodpeckers, and owls. This trip coincides with peak thrush migration, so species like Veery, Swainson’s and Gray-cheeked Thrush are possible. Other target species include Eastern Wood-Pewee and Bachman’s Sparrow.
For more information, check out this event on Meet-Up.
Location: Bayard Conservation Area, Green Cove Springs on FL-16E/ Leonard C. Taylor Parkway about 1/2 mile west of Shands bridge. No fee.
