Bird Walk: Palm Coast Spray Fields (Palm Coast)

Join experienced birding leaders from Flagler Audubon Society who will help you explore the varied habitat in and around Flagler County. Bird walks and trips are geared for both beginners and intermediate birders. All events are open to the public, and are free unless noted. Visitors are welcome! You do not need to sign up in advance; just show up at the specified meeting time and place.
March 2 – Palm Coast Spray Fields
Palm Coast’s own future version of Viera Wetlands. At this time the fields are not open to the public. This is a rare opportunity. You can read about last year’s spray fields walk and see pictures here. ****meet at the Winn-Dixie parking lot at SR100 and I95****
Last year’s Spray Fields walk: 47 species
Accessibility: Involves walking through medium grass and up/down embankments. Highly advised to wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet/dirty! Bug spray is an absolute must.
