May 18, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am

Fort Mose Historic State Park is a U.S. National Historic Landmark located two miles north of St. Augustine on the edge of a salt marsh on the western side of the waterway separating the mainland from the coastal barrier islands. The original site of the 18th-century fort was uncovered in a 1986 archeological dig. The 40-acre site has picnic areas, an observation and birding boardwalk, kayak launch, a visitor center and museum.

We will look for waders, rails, warblers, woodpeckers, hawks and other birds of prey.

Location: 15 Fort Mose Trail, St. Augustine, FL. 32084

Fee: Admission to park is free. Visitor center fee is $2 per adult, children under 6 are free.
