First Day Hike/Morning Nature Walk

Kids and adults all across America will be participating in First Day Hikes, getting their hearts pumping and savoring the beauty of their awesome state parks’ natural resources. Join Ranger Charlie Baisden, Florida Master Naturalist and Master Gardener for this ranger-led hike through Wakulla Springs’ beautiful old growth Southern hardwood forests. Learn about the park’s history and the unique characteristics of Wakulla Springs’ forest habitats. Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the historic Wakulla Springs Lodge prior to the walk. Meet in the lobby of the lodge. Space is limited and reservations are suggested.
