Indian Lake State Forest Bird Walk

From 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM — Enjoy the outdoors and whatever nature has to offer while birding an easy to moderate woodsy with some narrow- not so level pathways and sandy trails around a small lake and swamp which is approximately 2 miles long. Unisex restroom at halfway mark. Hiking/ birding time duration is about 3 hours or less and the walk is very casual in speed. The Florida forest and lake scenery is excellent.
When walking / hiking Florida trails remember to wear appropriate attire and walking/hiking footwear. Also it is recommended to bring a hat, water, sunscreen, insect repellent and binoculars. NOTE: Birding experience is NOT required. Come and learn about and enjoy the birds of Florida while in the company of other friendly birders.
