Masked Booby
FWC
The Masked Booby is a scarce year-round resident at Dry Tortugas National Park where it occasionally breeds in small numbers. This distinctive bird may be seen on offshore pelagic trips or at sites affected by a hurricane. The Masked Booby is often seen on the crossing to the Dry Tortugas from Key West. Watch for them plunge-diving to catch fish and squid.
