The Treasure Island area is only accessible via boat. Launch your boat at one of several ramps along Haines Creek off CR 44 (about 2.7 miles one way) or from Lake Griffin State Park (about 8.75 miles one way) and follow Haines Creek to enter the breach on the north side of the area. Check the marsh, canals and open waters inside the property for waterfowl, shorebirds and wading birds. Seasonal waterfowl hunting takes place here; please click here for dates, regulations and more information. Portions of the area may be closed intermittently for habitat restoration.
