Birding Lake Jesup Conservation Area (Sanford)

December 2, 2019. Meet us before 2:00 PM at Lake Jesup Park, 5951 Sanford Avenue, Sanford.

We’ll bird the boat ramp and trail. From there we’ll drive to the Lake Jesup Conservation Area (North Tract) parking lot on Cameron Avenue. This area is absolutely beautiful. As we complete birding, we may be fortunate to view an incredible sunset.

We can expect to see Bald Eagles, Northern Harriers, Eastern Meadowlarks, Loggerhead Shrikes, Wilson’s Snipes, Egrets, Herons, Woodpeckers, Fish Crows and more.

Bring your cameras, binoculars, beverages & snacks. Being that some of the area my be wet, I recommend the you wear boots, or old, junky shoes.
