Birds, Bees, & Butterflies: Nature’s Pollinators (Naples)

April 5, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Presented by Audubon of the Western Everglades.

This talk to a partnership with Naples Native Plant Society in talking about what plants we should have in our communities and our yards to attract pollinators. These pollinators are so important to our survival. Pollinators are vital to creating and maintaining the habitats and ecosystems that many animals rely on for food and shelter. Worldwide, over half the diet of fats and oils comes from crops pollinated by animals. They facilitate the reproduction in 90% of the world’s flowering plants.

Tara McGraw will talk about birds as pollinators, Andee Naccarto will talk about the butterflies as pollinators and Keith Councell will talk about the bees as pollinators.

Hope to see your there!
