Limited Edition Field Trip to St. Augustine Hotspots

On Sunday, December 19th , Lorri Lilja and Kathy Rigling of Orange Audubon Society will lead a trip to hotspots around St Augustine. We will arrive at Dr. Robert Hayling Freedom Park right before high tide in hopes of finding the Nelson’s Sparrow, Saltmarsh Sparrow and Seaside Sparrow. Other coastal birds we may find on our quest include Clapper Rail, Sedge Wren, Marsh Wren, Merlin, Northern Harrier, Sharp-Shinned Hawk and Orange-crowned Warbler. Our plan is to check eBird reports prior to our trip and plan to look for any rarities that are nearby the St Augustine area.
Limited Edition Field Trips are limited to 12 people. Cost per trip is $12 for members and $17 for non-members.
