Presenter: Avid birder and former field trip leader for Georgia Audubon Theresa Hartz
Want to learn more about why birds behave the way they do? Join us for this informative in-person presentation!
Theresa Hartz has been an avid birder for more than thirty years, and has led numerous field trips for Georgia Audubon Society, including both local and the Merritt Island Waterfowl Weekend trips. She also conducts a Georgia Mountain Warbler Workshop each spring for Georgia Audubon Society participants, and is one of the instructors for the twice-yearly Master Birder Course offered by Georgia Audubon Society.
She became a permanent Florida resident in 2020 and enjoys the very different birding experiences in Northeast Florida compared to the north Georgia mountains!
Meetings start with refreshments and networking at 6:30 pm and programs at 7:00 pm (unless otherwise noted). We will provide snacks and drinks; please feel free to BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) and enjoy it during the program. Please also bring your own cup to help cut down on plastic trash at this event. Thank you!
