Nature Adventure with Good Natured River Tours (Melbourne)

Join Bert Alm for the morning nature adventure with Good Natured River Tours. We will look for birds and other wildlife while learning about the IRL. I’ve taken their evening tour and really enjoyed it. Each person will buy their own tickets by calling 321-987-0088 (ask for Kelly) and make a reservation for the 9 AM tour on Saturday, August 24th and be sure to tell them you are with Space Coast Audubon. The tickets are discounted to $22 which also includes a $5 coupon to Grills Riverside Seafood Deck & Tiki Bar. This trip is currently limited to the first 30 to call Good Natured River Tours and make a reservation against our 30 slots. Be sure to also RSVP on Meetup so I can keep track. For those who have time and want to socialize afterwards we’ll go to Grills Riverside for lunch. Meet at Grills Riverside parking lot (6075 N US Hwy 1, Melbourne) at 8:30 AM so we can get boarded and be ready to go at 9 AM.

Your adventure takes you through part of Brevard county estuary on the Indian River Lagoon and the Banana River. North America’s Estuary on the Indian River Lagoon and Banana River. You will see playful Bottle-nose Dolphins, Manatees, wild birds and occasionally alligators. With over 4,300 unique and localized plant species. The adventure is narrated by your U.S.C.G. Licensed Captain who will tell you the history of the Indian River lagoon and take you to the iconic landmark Dragon Point. Then relax as we cruise into the Banana River and see the Mathers Turn bridge and some of the beautiful exclusive real estate. kick back on our luxury 45 ft. boat with indoor & outdoor seating, clean bathroom and manual wheelchair handicapped friendly. While listening to Caribbean music throughout the tour in the Indian River Lagoon.
