Back for a 6th year, CBC4Kids is a citizen science adventure, designed for kids aged 8 and up, to promote an appreciation and awareness for birds and nature. Experience the wonder and beauty of birds and nature in their winter habitats. Our feathered friends can capture our imagination. The sport of birding is legendary and the CBC4Kids offers a wonderful citizen science adventure. This successful annual event is modeled after Audubon’s Christmas Bird Count held each December across the world.
This event offers a “birding boot camp” and 60 minutes on the trail with experienced birders/naturalists. The Jacksonville Zoo W.I.L.D. Program Ambassadors will present a program after the bird walks.
This is a free event, rain or shine.
