Hernando Audubon Meeting: The Importance of Conservation in Central Florida with speaker Barbara Walker

September 22, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The presentation summarizes how raptors utilize resources in Central Florida and examines potential threats to the future of raptors in Florida. Barbara is Board President for Tampa Bay Raptor Rescue, and is Bird of Prey Director at Moccasin Lake Nature Park in Clearwater. A few live hawks will be displayed. The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 22, at 7 p.m. at Brooksville Woman’s Club, 131 S. Main Street, Brooksville.

Masks and social distancing are required.
