Birding 101 @ William F. Sheffield Regional Park (Jacksonville)

February 6, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am

A 385 acre former dairy farm. Habitats in this park include two large ponds, open grasslands, blackberry brambles, and pine forests. This park makes for a great place for birders at any experience level to enjoy great views of birds.

Meet in the first parking lot nearest to restrooms and basketball courts at 8:00am. Make sure to bring your sunscreen, hat, water, and binoculars. Once we get signed in, we will make our way around the smaller ponds toward the large ponds and then the blackberry brambles.

Restrooms are available near the entrance of the park.
